BLACK ARCHITECTS AND INTERIOR DESIGN ASSOCIATION (BAIDA)

BAIDA is dedicated to promoting Black representation in Canadian architecture and interior design. Seeking to strengthen its mission, BAIDA commissioned Frontier to refine its messaging and redesign its visual identity. The newly crafted logo showcases custom curvy letterforms that symbolically connect, reflecting the organization’s commitment to fostering connections among Black designers with the wider design community, and across the African diaspora. The logo we created is all about that connection, bringing shapes together to fill spaces and create intersections for cultivating expertise. The logo stands apart from conventional geometric-sans designs in the industry, establishing a unique visual language for BAIDA.
